Alexa and Google Home are designed to do tasks - set timers, play music, control smart homes. Gus is designed for conversation. He asks follow-up questions, remembers your stories, and is patient with repeated conversations. Think companion, not assistant.

Setting up Gus is incredibly simple. With our Professional Customization package ($499), we handle everything - the tablet arrives fully configured with your parent's information already programmed. Just connect to Wi-Fi and say hello.

Yes! Gus is designed for the whole family. Anyone can call Gus's dedicated phone number to share updates, stories, or family news. For example, you might call to tell Gus "We're taking the kids to Disney next month" or "Sarah graduated college this weekend." When your parent talks with Gus later, he'll naturally bring it up in conversation - "I heard your granddaughter Sarah graduated! That must make you so proud."

This keeps your parent connected to family life even when you can't visit or call them directly. Think of Gus as a family communication bridge that works 24/7.

Gus is designed specifically for people who don't like technology. Unlike smartphones or tablets that require tapping, swiping, and navigating menus, Gus works with just one big button - press and talk, just like using a walkie-talkie. No screens to read, no apps to learn, no complicated steps.

Your parent doesn't need to understand AI or technology - they just have a conversation. Gus responds naturally, just like talking to a person. In our beta testing, we've had 87-year-old users who've never used a computer successfully use Gus every single day. Yes, Gus requires an internet connection to work since he uses advanced AI to have natural conversations. During an internet outage, Gus won't be able to respond. However, the tablet will show a simple message explaining the connection issue.

The good news: Gus works on standard home Wi-Fi (the same internet you use for email and Netflix). Most families never experience disruptions. If your parent's internet goes down frequently, we recommend discussing internet reliability with their provider before purchasing. For the "Gus on the Go" plan, the mobile version can work on cellular data when Wi-Fi isn't available.

Gus provides you with helpful daily summaries - not word-for-word transcripts. You'll receive insights like "Your mom talked about her garden today and mentioned feeling tired" or "Your dad asked about his appointment on Tuesday three times." This gives you valuable awareness without invading privacy.

We don't record or store full conversations. The summaries help you:

• Spot concerning patterns (repeated confusion, mood changes)
• Know what's on your parent's mind
• Find conversation starters when you call ("I heard you're excited about the garden!")
